PROCEDURE

Activity 1- Warm-up

The Teacher greets the class and the Students greet back. The Teacher asks for absentees
and afterwards introduces herself and her rules asking in the same time students
expectations about English class.

Activity 2- .
Aim – to get to know each other student through a funny game

Procedure – Teacher asks the Ss to write individually 4 things about themselves, 3 are
true facts and the the 4th one is a lie. 5 minutes

Afterwards each student reads the facts about himself and another colleague has to guess
which was the lie. 10 minutes

Activity 3

Aim – to practice greetings and formal introducing oneself

Procedure:
Teacher will describe moments of the day and asks ss to greet accordingly.
Teacher will formally introduce herself and ask students to proceed similarly.
Teacher will give ss 2 types of hand outs and ask them to complete them accordingly and
afterwards to check them together with the class

Estimated Time: 15 minutes

Activity 4 Practice
Aim - to practice greetings and formal introducing oneself
Procedure:
T will ask ss to open the book at page 8 and solve in their notebooks ex 2. 5min
T will check the answers naming one student per sentence. 5 minutes

Activity 5- Assigning homework


The teacher gives feedback by congratulating the students and encouraging the less
talkative ones to speak more.

Teacher communicates the Students their homework.
Then the Teacher writes it on the blackboard and tells the Students to write it on their
note books.
