Dear Parents,
We are writing to inform you that the installation of air conditioners for classrooms in
Grades 1-3 is already underway. This project was initiated based on numerous requests
from parents, and we believe it will create a more comfortable learning environment for
our younger students.

We understand that concerns regarding warm temperatures are the same across all
grades. As discussed during recent PTA meetings, we propose extending air conditioning to
other grades only if at least 65% to 70% of parents approve.

The school administration is already bearing the total cost of procuring and installing the
Air Conditioners, and there will be additional expenses for glass windows, regular
maintenance, electrical wiring, etc. But the major cost will be the recurring electricity cost.

We estimate the running cost of the ACs will be around Rs. 220/- month per student. The
management has decided to share 50% of the additional cost for the year 2024-25.

Instead of passing on the entire burden to the parents in one year, there will be a gradual
fee increase of Rs. 220/- per month, implemented in two phases:
● Rs. 110/- per month in the academic year 2024-25
● Rs. 110/- per month in the academic year 2025-26

To gather the necessary consent, we have created a Google Form. Please submit your
response by February 12, 2024.

If parents do not fill out the following Google Form, it will be assumed you are in
agreement with the proposal to install Air Conditioners-
