1. Project Scope Statement

Project Title
Field Instrument Calibration

Project Objectives
- To ensure that the instrument readings are accurate for process control
- To verify response of the sensors at various parameter ranges
- To fulfil statutory obligation for audit purposes

Project Scope

- Opening of each instrument covers check for correct potential


- Record of as found settings
- Calibration of instrument using HART (for HART enabled devices), thermo-bath, hand pump, Decade box,
process calibrator
- Record of readings
- Calculations of % errors
- Determination of instruments for sensor or output trimming
- Purchase of glycerin oil (3 litres)
- Refilling of gauges glycerin oil and seal of gauges
- Cleaning of the instrument, valve blocks, and tags
- Submission of calibration report (hard and soft copy) detailing NC or conformity

Key Deliverables

- The zero reading is at zero


- The span attains maximum set value
- Verify reproducibility of the instrument
- The span error does not exceed OEM specified accuracy level

2. Project scheduling
- Project execution time shall be during the day
- An estimate of 30 working days including mobilization and demobilization

3. Other Requirements
1. Vendor must complete job before demobilizing from site
2. Vendor must carry out proper on-site assessment before sending in their final proposals.
3. Vendor must submit JHA and method scope document before mobilizing to site.
4. Vendor is responsible for all special tools for this task
5. Vendor to discuss with FIPL for any additional material that could be required for the task.
6. Vendor is to provide skilled manpower
7. Vendor to comply with applicable FIPL HSE protocol at work sites
8. Use of qualified personnel with proven experience is mandatory
9. Vendor to discuss with FIPL to agree on areas for local content inclusion, if required
