CIRCLE TIME Greetings…… Hello, Good morning ! How are you?
Topic: SING A FUN COUNTING SONG
PRACTICE COUNTING 1- 10
PLAY GAMES
LEARN TO TRACE NUMBERS 1-10
Lesson PLAY THE SONG :
 Play the song do the gesture and encourage everyone to do them with me.
 Whilst marching, count off the numbers on fingers as the numbers are sung.
 Do each action word (e.g. jump turn around clap your hands).

PRACTICE COUNTING NUMBERS:

 Helps students to recognize and learn how to count numbers 1-10.
 Target vocabulary: One ,two , three and so on ( till ten).
 Teach numbers vocabulary using Flash cards.

Procedure:
The teacher shows the number using flashcards to the students ( flashcards containing numbers and
pictures). The teacher pronounces the number and asks the students to imitate her.

Teacher: This is one ( shows the flashcard), this is two ( shows flashcard)…….. until ten.
 The teacher would repeat it many times and in the end she will count again one to ten, to make the students
remember the number in the right order.

PLAY GAME:
 Teacher will provide many balls. The teacher a get ball/s , then throw it in the basket then she will call a
student and ask how many ball/s are in the basket.
