Dear Sir or Madam,

With this cover letter I would like to express my interest in the Erasmus programme to get a
chance to study for one semester abroad.

I am twenty years old and I am currently in my first year of studying at the Faculty of economi. As
my study programme I have chosen Automation and Measurement.

There are several reasons why I decided to apply for this program. Firstly, I believe that this is
unique opportunity to deeply experience different culture and lifestyle. Also it would be great
chance to learn new language and enrich my curriculum vitae, as well as gain more independence.

I have been learning English for 10 years as my first foreign language and I think that speaking
with native speakers without any chance of using my native language is definitely the best way
how to improve my English skills.

The Erasmus program seems like a great way to meet other students from Europe. I think that
living and studying with this international group of students will help me to broaden my horizons.
Last but not least, it would be honour for me if I get a chance to study on Universities where
taught or studied great personalities such as Alexander Graham Bell, Tomáš Garrigue Masaryk or
Jaroslav Heyrovský. This aspect would be very motivating and inspirational for me and I believe
that it could help me in overcoming future challenges such as bachelor's and master's thesis.

The experience that I could gain by chance to study in foreign country would be valuable for my
future studies and personal development. I would be very grateful if you consider my application
and give me chance to represent our university as one of the best in the Europe.
