Mayor Espino strongly recommended Miss Arian Atazan to work as a manager at the XYZ
Corporation. Miss Atazan is a fresh graduate of management of the local city university
where the mayor herself is the president. Her records reveal that she is an average student
and had no extracurricular activities in school. Her father happens to be the supporter of
the mayor and her political career. Miss Atazan took the organization’s examination, but
she failed due to her poor communication skills.

To give in to the Mayor’s request, the HR Manager offered Miss Atazan the cashier position
instead of the managerial position that the Mayor would like her to have. However, Miss
Atazan did not want to accept the position and insisted that she should get the job because
of the Mayor’s recommendation.

1. Based on the scenario, why did Miss Arian Atazan fail to have her desired position
