General Terms and Conditions:
1. Any escalation to material price more than 5% will be charged at the prevailing rates.
2. VAT to be charged extra as per UAE government.
3. Our scope of work includes the activities specifically stated.
4. Any additional work has to be paid extra as per our consent.
5. In case of any variation between your specifications, terms and conditions and our quotation/correspondence, the letter shall
prevail.
6. Security/gate passes for our team shall be provided by the main contractor.
7. Fee for testing of any material by main contractor.
8. The area shall be handed over completed in all respect by due date for commencing our work without any interruption.
9. The contractor shall indemnify the subcontractor for any damages to the material or subcontract works due to the negligence
of the contractor/ subcontractors through the contract.
10. No retention will be applicable less than Dhs. 250,000.00 work order.
11. If the agreement document made in arabic language, there must be english and duly verified copy attached with.
12. Upon material delivery at site by MSIC, the delivery order must be signed by the concern person from main contractor.
13. Our quotation to form integral part of the contract, even its not mentioned in LPO/Agreement.
14. Deployment of man power if any must be mutually agreed and signed by both parties.
15. MSIC reserves the right to stop work if the client does not honor his payment obligations/measurement sheet on time.
16. Delay in payment will lead to extension of project duration and will be charged 500/day of due payment.
17. All permission for the site access or from the road transport authority must be provided by the client or main contractor.
18. Every precaution has to be taken to protect the waterproofing system.
19. Site program to be mutually agreed upon site.
20. Material should be delivered within seven days after confirmation order and receipt of payment.
21. No performance bond will be given.
22. Cleaning and surface preparation as per our satisfaction.
23. Protection to finished works and proper barricading of our works as per our requirements.
24. Secured, covered storage area for our material and safe access to the work area (Ladders scaffolding etc.)
25. 20mmx20mm groove at parapet, up stand and any other termination level to tuck in membrane.
26. Material/machinery/equipment offloading/loading/shifting by main contractor at working area.
27. Water and execution of water test all times by main contractor.
28. Fire blanket, fire extinguisher, Safety Harness & Fall arrestor by main contractor (if required).
29. Angle fillets at horizontal/vertical junctions including pipes. Cement, sand and water provided by main contractor.
30. Cranage and distribution of material and equipment from storage area to work place.
31. Quantities to be re-measured on completion of work.
32. Electricity, lights facility, air ventilation, water and execution of water test all times by main contractor.
33. Accomodation, transportation and food by Main Contractor.
34. If the actual site quantity is more than LPO main contractor will pay the extra delivery charges whatever will be (including loading &
off-loading).
