I. OBJECTIVES:
At the end of the lesson, the learners will be able to:

a. Identify the basic, arm and steps in folkdance


b. Describe the importance of hands, arm and step in folkdance
c. Apply the basic arm and dance step in folkdance

II. SUBJECT MATTER

Topic: Exercise Program (Folk Dance)


Reference: SLM Quarter 3 Week 1 (PE7RD-IIId-1)
Materials: Laptop, Powerpoint, Presentation and Youtube

III. PROCEDURE

A. Daily routine/Preliminary Activities

B. Review
Activity: Recapitulation
Directions: The teacher will ask the students to share and recall the
past lesson.
III.2 Lesson Proper
A.1.Activity 1. ENERGIZER
Instruction: The teacher will group the students into three (3) and the
teacher will assign a three (3) basic hand and arm dance steps per group.

Group 1: Lateral Movement, T-position, and Reversed T-position


Group 2: Bilao, Hapay, and Hayon hayon
Group 3: Kumintang, Salok, and Sarok

B. Analysis
The teacher will ask the following questions:
a. What did you observe about on your activity?
b. Why we need to understand the dance steps in folkdance?

C. Abstraction

1. What is folk dance?


2. What are the (9) Basic hand, arm movement, and dance step in folkdance?

D. Application

Instructions: The student will write the correct answer in the space provided
based on the box below.

or inward).
