 SUMMARY OF THE BOOK THE BLACK CAT.

The black cat – horror story that left the reader feeling bewildered and surprised, the story
is about the man who is very kind and loves animals but for some reason he becomes more
aggressive and worse and things start to come crashing down when his evil personality rises.
The man at first was a nice and loving person, someone who always loved animals more
than anything. When he was a little boy his family also raised a lot of animals around the house
and when he grew up he still spent most of his time with them, feeding them and cleaning them
up.
He was married at a very young and his wife was also very animal-loving, which made
him even happier. His wife bought a lot of beautiful animals and among them was a large black
cat named Pluto.
The black cat, black all over and very intelligent, but there are some people who think
that all black cats are evil, enemies in the cat's body.
Pluto is his favorite cat, always taking good care of it. For many years he and the cat
lived very happily and were good friends.
But in those years he gradually changed, he assumed that Pluto was the evil enemy of
man, he drank, drank a lot and washed away his original honest nature, he became more selfish,
or angry about small things and began to speak ill of his wife. He also beat his wife and did
horrible things to the animals in the house. He hits everything — but Pluto never does.
His illness is getting worse – drinking too much alcohol makes his psyche unstable and
has psychological symptoms. Soon he was hurting Pluto. Pluto began to displease and stayed
away from him. It made him even more angry, suddenly he wasn't himself anymore, he was
crazy about drinking too much alcohol. He took the knife from his pocket and put it around the
poor animal's neck and cut out one of its eyes. The next morning, when he woke up, his mind
was filled with pain and horror, he couldn't understand why he was so evil, but when he drank it
helped him forget everything that had happened.
Pluto is also getting better, no more pain and now Pluto has only one eye. Pluto stopped
approaching him and ran away when he saw him, which made him sad and started to get angry,
he started doing other terrible things. He captured Pluto and hanged it from a tree until it died. It
was terrible he was actually psychologically perverted. That night, his house suddenly caught
fire, everything was burned except for a wall in the middle of the house because it had quite wet
plaster. He approached and saw a shadow, which was Pluto's corpse, which made him very
confused. He had been obsessed with that image for months including in his dreams. He begins
to get upset and wants to go find another cat like Pluto.
 He searched town and also found a Pluto breed but this cat had a white patch on its face –
Pluto did not. He decides to take it home the night, but as the weeks go by he hates the animal
even more, he starts to stay away from the cat. One day his wife went down to the cellar with
him to cut wood because now the house was too poor to have maids. And the cat also followed,
he almost fell for it. That made him very angry, his hand was holding the axe and trying to chop
the animal in two. But his wife stopped him in time, which made him even angrier. He pulled his
wife out, then lifted the tool, forcefully lowered it and inserted it into the top of her head. Yes, he
killed his wife, it was unbelievable.
He started to hide the body, he thought of a lot of creepy ways and was afraid of being
discovered by everyone around him so he decided to hide the body inside the wall of the cellar, a
damp place with a fairly solid stucco jelly, he hit his wife's body inside in the middle of the wall.
Next he went looking for the cat to kill it but day by day he couldn't find it. He begins to feel
more comfortable and free when there is no longer a cat.
People started asking about his wife but he was very calm and answered easily. A few
days later, the police came and searched the house, and when they went to the cellar to search, a
scream of horror sounded inside the wall, the wall was broken, the body of the wife inside with
dried blood on her head was looking, and the cat was standing on top with a red mouth and a
fiery yellow gaze, the scream sent him to the gallows to pay for what he had done.
