THOUGHTS
-refers to the ideas or opinions produced
by thinking or that occur in mind
-usually originate from things we have
learned both in a right way and a wrong
way.

• Malcognitions – thoughts that potentially affect


our attitude negatively are commonly associated
with an irrational beliefs represented by a
statement that echoes in our heads
• Maladaptive behavior- the effect of
malcognition. This stop someone from adapting
to new or difficult circumstances

-occurs beyond our awareness
-ex.: mannerisms, body language, gestures
