Week No. 3 – 4 (September 5 – 16, 2022) Quarter FIRST

PARTS OF THE LESSON Session 1 Session 2 Session 3 Session 4

Content Standard (Topic) Demonstrates understanding of key concepts of sequences, polynomials and polynomial equations.
Performance Standard The learner is able to formulate and solve problems involving sequences, polynomials and polynomial equations in different disciplines through
appropriate and accurate representations.
Learning Competency Generate patterns (M10AL-Ia-1)
Write Learning Code for each illustrates an arithmetic sequence (M10AL-Ib-1)
determines arithmetic means and nth term of an arithmetic sequence.*** (M10AL-Ib-c-1)
I. OBJECTIVE(S) Objectives must be met over the week and connected the curriculum standards. To meet the objectives necessary procedures must be followed and if needed, additional lessons,
exercises, and remedial activities may be done for developing content knowledge and competencies. These are assessed using Formative strategies Assessment strategies. Valuing
objectives support the learning of content and competencies and enable children to find significance and joy in learning the lessons. Weekly objectives shall be derived from the
curriculum guides.
At the end of each session the student will be able to:
 generate and describe patterns
 find the next few terms of a sequence
 find the general or nth term of a sequence
 illustrate an arithmetic sequence
 determine the nth term of a given arithmetic sequence
 find the arithmetic means between terms of an arithmetic sequence
II. CONTENT Content is what the lesson is all about. It pertains to the subject matter that the teacher aims to teach in the CG, the content can be tackled in a week or two.

IV. PROCEDURE These steps should be done across the week. Spread out activities appropriately so that students will learn well. Always be guided by demonstration of learning by the students which
you can infer from formative assessment activities. Sustain learning systematically by providing students with multiple ways to learn new things, practice their learning, question their
learning processes, and draw conclusions about what they learned in relation to their experiences and previous knowledge. Indicate the time allotment for each step.

D. Application To save for the class field
trip, Celia deposited Php
75 into her account the
first week, Php 100 the
second week, Php 125 the
third week, and so on until
she had enough money for
the trip. If it took her 12
weeks to save the target
amount, how much money
did she have for the field
trip?
