ADMINSTRATION – PREFECTS PARENTS MEETING

AGENDA : PARENTS CONSENT ON PREFECTS TRAINING

PROGRAM

Mrs Munyanyi gave an opening prayer. Mr Tshuma introduced members of the administration to
the parents. The deputy head, Mr Mawere welcomed parents to the meeting. He additionally
expressed gratitude to the parents for the supporting the institution s programs. He further
informed parents about the trip to our destination, Binga Rest Camp as from the 23rd of February
to the 25th of February 2024.

Mr Ntuli, the SDC chair did express a congratulation message to parents for the elevation of their
children to the prefect body. He highlighted that the leadership training program was aimed at
developing the learner with leadership skills. He explicitly explained that it was the school that is
paying all the transport, accommodation and food costs. The parents were encouraged to pay
their school fees timeously so as to ensure smooth running of the institution.

He invited questions from the parents. Mrs Munyanyi applauded the institution for exposing the
learners to leadership skills training.
Mrs Madzinga, senior woman told the parents about the learners requirements which are school
uniforms and tracksuits, T-shirts and shorts for outdoor activities. She further on urged parents
not strain themselves financially giving children lots of money.

The parents namely Mrs Mare, parent to lovejoy Mare, Mrs Musarurwa parent to Frank , Miss
Muguyo ,parent to Jordan Muguyo, Mrs Mangena , parent to Tanyaradzwa Mangena and Mrs
Mafunga , parent to Mufarowashe Mafunga concurred that the learners will carry their
cellphones at their own risk because it is not the prerogative of the school to safe keep them. Mrs
Munyanyi , parent to Munyanyi Tawananyasha had other ideas , that the phones must be left
home.

The parents who voted in support of carrying cellphones were 15 and against were 5.

Mr Muchechemera urged parents to collaborate on disciplinary issues so that we holistically


create a sane system.

The SDC Chairman gave a vote of thanks to parents for supporting the institution s programs.
