Experiencing practice teaching was a opportunity for the total immersion of a pre-service

teacher in the real life of becoming a teacher. It provides opportunity to apply the knowledge and skills
they learned in taking education course. June 17, 2022, was the set date for us to held our culminating
activity, it is a opportunity to synthesize the knowledge and experiences we have gained throughout our
practice teaching. It was very fulfilling event as we were able to show our appreciation to the effort of
various individuals to achieve the success of our practice teaching.

The internship of the pre-service teacher from BEED-ELGEN A finally ended with its culminating
activity with the theme “Educators as Catalysts in the New Normal Environment: Equip, Engage,
Empower”. Present in the program was our supervising teacher, Dr. Precy Regalado, the principal of
Saavedra Saway Central Elementary School, Ma’am Norha T. Marohombsar, pre-service teacher and
other teachers at the school.

The program started with the prayer followed by the singing of the national anthem. The first
activity of the program was started by introducing the action research congress led by the host. After
the action research was introduced, the research congress proper started. Evaluators of the research
congress explore the booths prepared by the researchers. The researcher introduces their action
research to the evaluators and answered every question given to them. The action research congress
ends with sharing of realizations of some participants about the activity.

Afterwards, the masters of ceremony introduce and start the culminating activity. Sir, Fadznur A.
Abdusalam led the opening remarks by giving brief introduction and overview of the activity. Next,
ma’am Rowena S. Bongolto serves as representative of our Department Chairperson, Dr. Diane Mae P.
Ulanday, and share inspirational message for the pre-service teachers and other guest of the event. The
pre-service teachers of the school presents the intermission number they have prepared for the activity.

Consequently, Mrs. Rina Edita Dalipe, as the block president of the pre-service teachers, shared
her realization about the experiences during the deployment in the school as practice teachers and
followed by the response from cooperating teacher representative, Ma’am Gloria E. Olais.
