A. Social Issue
Social issue, a state of affairs that negatively
affects the personal or social lives of individuals
or the well-being of communities or larger groups
within a society and about which there is usually
public disagreement as to its nature, causes, or
solution. The term social issue is frequently used
synonymously with social problem.

B. MORAL ISSUES are situations or actions


that do not conform to the shared norms
and values, culture, and beliefs
distinguished by a certain community or
social setting.

Examples;

1. Abortion

issue on abortion.
Abortion involves the
termination of
pregnancy. While
other countries
consider abortion as
legal, it is a moral
issue in the
Philippines and is
regarded a grievous sin.

Explanation- This action is against the norms and


values of the people, the church, and the society.
It is illegal under the law of the land and is highly
condemned.

2. Stealing
The image
reflects an
issue on
stealing.
Stealing is
an act of taking
away
someone
else’s
possession without permission.

Explanation

It is morally and illegally wrong as it is against the ethical standard of the


society and it also violates the law of the land.

C. ECONOMIC ISSUES are situations that reflect the scarcity of


resources which are deemed insufficient to satisfy human wants and
needs.
