Ladies and gentlemen, a blessed morning. It is with immense pleasure and a sense of great privilege that I extend to each and every one of you a warm welcome to this year's First General Assembly of the ZPPSU-Extension Units. Today marks a significant moment as we gather here, not just as individuals, but as a collective force dedicated to the noble cause of education and community service. As we look around this convention, we see familiar and unfamiliar faces coming Malangas EPDU, Siay EPDU, Kabasalan EPDU & Vitali EPDU, key officials representing diverse backgrounds, expertise, and experiences, all converging under the umbrella of our shared commitment to the university mission and vision. It is this diversity that enriches our discussions, broadens our perspectives, create a strong connection by getting to know each other and ultimately strengthens the fabric of our institution. The journey of education is one that is constantly evolving, presenting us with new challenges and opportunities. With the extraordinary leadership of our President, Dr. Nelson Cabral, from the conversion of state college status to a university, then finally to conquering the Zamboanga Peninsula by offering programs and opening of new extension units, which made us all gathered here today. The family, our EPDU Team is even growing, because soon, the Bayog Campus will be opened. This general assembly reminds us of our roles as key officials, faculty, and staff; we bear the responsibility of nurturing minds, fostering innovation, and shaping the future leaders of our society. We anchor on the Highed Education mandates which are Instruction, Research, Extension and Production. It is a responsibility that we do not take lightly, for we understand the profound impact our actions have on the lives of those we serve.
Today's gathering provides us with a valuable opportunity to reflect on our
achievements, celebrate our successes, and identify areas for growth and improvement. It is a forum for open dialogue, constructive feedback, and collaboration, as we strive to uphold the highest standards of academic excellence and service to our communities. As we embark on this journey together, let us reaffirm our commitment to our mission, our values, and our shared vision for the future. Let us harness the collective wisdom and expertise present in this room to inspire, empower, and uplift one another in our pursuit of excellence. In closing, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to each and every one of you for your dedication, passion, and unwavering commitment to the ideals that define our institution. Together, I am confident that we will continue to make a positive and lasting impact on the lives of those we serve. Thank you, and may today's General Assembly be a source of inspiration, collaboration, and renewed purpose for us all.
