Engr. Madlos explained to the consultant that there were five (5)
sites identified by the LGU. The identified sites was visited by NHA
Technical staff and conducted site inspection and investigation. The
sites were all feasible with minor engineering mitigating measure as
recommendation noted during the inspection.
Engineer Puerto added that the LGU already conducted initial land
development of the proposed project site up to clearing and
grabbing in Brgy. Paraiso. He also said that the LGU already
allocated fund for the relocation and topographic survey for Brgy.
Paraiso.
All five (5) sites should have relocation and topographic surveys so
that the LGU/NHA can proceed to preparation of subdivision
scheme and land development details.
NHA imposed that LGU should fast track the submission of the
lacking documentary requirements especially those needed by the
OCD for the approval of the budget for the said project. Among
those they need to submit the soonest time possible are the LCE
Letter Request supported by an SB Resolution requesting the
Office of Civil Defense (OCD) to give the LGU sufficient time in
complying lacking documents concerning the housing project
intended for the Five Hundred Seventeen (517) permanent housing
units.
Engr. Romualdo raised concerns with the amount that might incur
“Sama-sama, Tulong-tulong Programang Pabahay Ating Isulong”
for the boundary survey and discussed that she needed to address
the said concern with Mayor Limbungan for the budget approval.
Atty, Bartolo suggested that the LGU might consider on tapping
other government agencies like DENR to request for the boundary
survey.
