C1. Comparative adjectives (Tính từ so sánh hơn)
- Chúng ta dùng dạng so sánh hơn của tính từ để so sánh hai vật hoặc hai người với nhau.
Tính từ Quy tắc chính tả Ví dụ
thêm -er warm → warmer
 tính từ 1 âm tiết
thêm -r nếu tính từ tận cùng là -e safe → safer
 tính từ tận cùng bằng 1 nguyên big → bigger

- Chúng ta dùng than sau một tính từ so sánh hơn trong câu so sánh hơn.

C2. Superlative adjectives (Tính từ so sánh nhất)

- Ta dùng dạng so sánh nhất để so sánh thứ gì đó đứng nhất so với những thứ khác trong 1 nhóm.

- Chúng ta đôi lúc dùng so sánh nhất mà không cần danh từ khi điều mà chúng ta đề cập đã rất rõ ràng.
 I like all his films. But Titanic is the best. (= the best film)
 (Tôi thích tất cả phim của ông ấy. Nhưng Titanic là đỉnh nhất.)
