1. Target of the week

- Practice to make shipping documents for consolidation service to MAO, VCP.
Be competent in making shipping document for shipment of the consolidation
service.
- Can handle by myself what assigned. Remember the process in details without
mechanically relying on the training file or notebook.
- Learn how to make shipping documents for Samsung cargo to new destinations
other than MAO, PTY and BUE.
- Learn how to handle separated shipment.
2. Weekly internship report for week 2

Day Task and description

Day 1:
Book and send 13 HAWB.
Monday
(09/08/2021)
Day 2: Day off.
Tuesday
(10/08/2021)
Day 3: Handling separated shipment of Zuzhan delivered by Cathay
Wednesday Pacific (CX). Closing mixed destination documents of shipment
(11/08/2021) to MAO and BUE. Send 3 BKCF. Making shipping document of
no-battery parts of phone mobile of Samsung SEV to MAO and
BUE by CX.
Day 4: Book and send BKCF to vendor. Make a full set of shipping
 Thursday documents for DG cargo of SEV to PTY. Make a full set of
(12/08/2021) shipping documents for DG cargo of SEV to MEX (Mexico)
forwarding LUX (Los Angeles). Make a full set of shipping
documents for no-battery parts of mobile of SEV to MAO by CX.
Learn how to fill the information and collect MAWB from the
website of CX. Close and make a full set of shipping documents
for consolidated MAWB to VCP direct. Handle to the end
separated shipment of Wonjin by KE (shipping documents, adjust
and confirm the documents and send the vendor the final HAWB)
Day 5: Friday Book and send BKCF to vendor. Send the confirming notice to
(13/08/2021) Noibai team about the consolidated MAWB to MAO by KE.
Day 6: Book and send BKCF to vendor. Make a full set of shipping
Saturday documents for no-battery parts of mobile of SEV to MAO and for
(14/08/2021) the mixed destination shipment (MAO and PTY). Make a full set
of shipping documents for consolidated MAWB to GRU by
Quatar Airlines.

3. Personnal evaluation

After 5 weeks of internship, I basically grasped how to make shipping documents for
goods and was able to confidently complete the consolidated MAWB, complete
several Samsung cargo’s shipments at the same time to reduce the amount of workload
for the rest of the team members.

Summarizing 5 weeks of internship, I have experienced a professional and

international working environment, learned a lot of new things, not only knowledge
about the industry, but also daily knowledge. It was so different from when I went to
school, I had more colleagues, my boss, and we worked together for the goal of
completing the best work possible. At the end, the work was completed more smoothly
and I was able to detect some errors during the working process and fix it myself
without the support of the instructor.

Even though the internship period of 5 weeks is not too long, moreover, due to the
COVID-19 pandemic, I could not come to the company for the last 3 weeks to be able
to interact and learn more, however, the period of internship as a paperwork officer at
KGL Vietnam Co., Ltd. means a lot to me. What I learned at KGL will be very useful
in the future whether I continue to choose this import-export industry or not.
