EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 12

EXECUTIVE ORDER CREATING THE BARANGAY INVENTORY COMMITTEE OF

BARANGAY PATADON, KIDAPAWAN CITY

WHEREAS, Circular No. 92-386 of the Commission on Audit (COA), prescribes the rules and
regulations on supply and property management in the local government units;

WHEREAS, Section 156 of Circular No. 92-386 of the Commission on Audit requires the annual
inventory of supplies and property of the local government unit as of December 31 of each
year, to be conducted by a committee of three (3) consisting of the representative of the local
chief executive as chairman and the general services officer, municipal or barangay treasurer,
as the case may be, and the supply accountable officer of the department of office concerned,
as members;

WHEREAS, local government units under Section 18 of Republic Act No. 7160, otherwise
known as the “Local Government Code of 1991” are authorized to establish an organization that
shall be responsible for the efficient and effective implementation of their development plans,
programs, objectives and priorities;

WHEREAS, the Barangay Officials of Barangay Patadon recognizes the vital role of Inventory
Committee in Barangay;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, JAYNODIN P. ISLA, Punong Barangay of Barangay Patadon,

Kidapawan City, Cotabato, by virtue of the power vested in me by law, do hereby create and
constitute a Barangay Inventory committee of the Barangay Patadon, City of Kidapawan, as
follows;

SECTION 1. COMPOSITION. The Barangay Inventory Committee of this Barangay shall be

composed of the following:

Members : Abosama M. Mama Barangay Kagawad
Datu Michael M. Aman Barangay Kagawad
Johana P. Angkad Barangay Secretary
Bairamla D. Baclid Barangay Treasurer
Suraida D. Mangrar Barangay Record Keeper
Laarni P. Ulama CSO/NGO Representative

SECTION 2. DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS.

1. The committee shall conduct an actual inventory of all real and immovable properties of the
Barangay such as land, building, infrastructure, facilities improvements and machineries at
least once a year.
2. Conduct functionality of movable properties of the Barangay such as vehicles, office
equipment, furniture, fixtures and supply stocks;
3. Oversee management of assets and properties that are owned by the BLGU. Including
inventory of all assets and acquired assets such as public land, acquired lot, vehicles and
vehicles and equipment including computers, laptops, communication units, equipment
facilities, etc.
4. Responsible for the efficient, effective and economical use and safe keeping of the BLGU’s
assets and can be held legally responsible any loss or misuse of such assets;
5. Conduct actual inspection of purchase items of the Barangay and conduct post inspections
and account of unutilized/ spare materials;
6. Act as Head of Acceptance and inspectorate Team for but not limited to purchases and
deliveries in the Barangay to carry out its functions;
7. Take custody of and the accountable for all the properties, real or personal owned by the
Barangay and those granted to it in the form of donation, reparation, assistance and
counter part of joint projects;
8. Collate and disseminate information regarding prices, shipping and other cost of supplies
and other items commonly used by the barangay;
9. Perform all other functions pertaining to supply and property management and enforce
policies on records creations, maintenance and disposal.

SECTION 3. SEPARABILITY CLAUSE. If any provision of this Executive Order is declared

invalid or unconstitutional, the other provisions not affected thereby shall remain valid and
subsisting.

SECTION 4. REPEALING CLAUSE- All orders and other issuance or parts thereof, which are
inconsistent with this order are hereby prepared or modified accordingly.

SECTION. EFFECTIVITY. This Executive Order shall take effect immediately.
