Understanding these techniques can help you become more

In writing, persuasive techniques are also used, especially when

trust.

Emotional appeal involves appealing to the audience's emotions

to persuade them. It can involve storytelling, vivid language, or
imagery that elicits feelings such as fear, pity, joy, or anger. Like in
the advertisement of Jollibee, where they share a touching story
inspired by true events about the people who eat there and have
their own story to share, making you feel compassionate and more
likely to eat there also and share your story.

Logical Reasoning, also known as "logos," is a technique

involving using rational arguments and clear reasoning to
persuade the audience. This can include facts, statistics, research
findings, or logical arguments. Like in soap and bleach
commercials where they conduct a "live test" to use as evidence of
its effectiveness or superiority over competitors to convince you to
buy their product.

Credibility and trust, also known as ethos, involves establishing

the speaker's credibility, ethics, or trustworthiness. Like in the
commercial of Julie's Bakeshop wherein they show how long their
products have been in the industry and are still being supported
up until now.
