I. INTRODUCTION
Upon entering the jail facility, my expectations are very specific to their job, security is their main goal and
the proper treatment of Person’s Deprived of Liberty (PDL). The preparation I have done is to recall all of our lesson
in our subject Correctional Administration (CorAd) specifically the 11 General Order when it comes to security or
duty and responsibility of an officer.
II. ACTIVITY DONE
On behalf of the BJMP Tayug with the leadership of Jail Warden JINSP Jerizalde Cristo, and SJO 3 June
Lapena, we have joined a lot of activity and we’ve gained knowledge about their job and daily routine. We’ve also
joined in Tree Planting, Clean - Up drive, seminars on skills enhancement of PDL, Therapeutic Community Program
and Oplan Greyhound which are very important to their goal as an organization focused on rehabilitating a criminal.
III. POSSIBLE APPLICATION OF KNOWLEDGE GAINED
The 11 General Orders which emphasizes the importance of being aware of what are your duties and
responsibilities on your designated area of responsibility which can be applied in our future profession. We’ve also
performed the proper handcuffing and inspection of visitors and their foods upon entering the jail premises, I’ve also
witnessed and observed their daily routine in terms of the nature of their job which I believe are very vital to know.
