1 Calibration object
The calibration object (CO) is an measuring instrument for the measurement of testing
alternating voltage and testing direct voltage according to IEC 60060-2 and IEC 61083-3,
Draft.
Type: MU 18 DP
Serial no: 103 191
Input: X1
Input impedance: 10 MΩ || 50 pF
Software/Firmware: A1 version 4.3
The alternating voltages or direct voltages to be measured were led to the input X1 of the
measuring instrument.
The input impedance of the input X1 amounts 10 MΩ in parallel to 50 pF.
According to the technical specification of the measuring instrument the limit of the
uncertainty of the measurement amounts to 0.5 % and the maximum admissible systematic
measuring deviation amounts to  0.5 % for the measuring quantities average for direct
voltages and 𝑈⁄√2 and 𝑈 . . . (true r.m.s. value) for alternating voltages.

2 Calibration procedure
The measuring instrument was calibrated according to IEC 60060-2 by comparison
measurement against a Reference Multi-Product-Calibrator Wavetek 9100 (calibration mark
7314/D-K-18673-01-00/2020-12). The calibration object was connected using a coaxial cable
with a length of 1 m, a wave resistance of 75 Ω and a capacitance of 72 pF/m.

7 Measurement uncertainty
The relative measurement uncertainty (related to the measuring value) amounts
for direct voltage 0.32 %
for alternating voltage 0.42 %
The uncertainty stated is the expanded uncertainty of measurement obtained by multiplying
the standard uncertainty by the coverage factor k = 2. It has been determined in accordance
with EA-4/02 M:2013 and in accordance with the ISO/BIPM guide GUM (“Guide to the
Expression of Uncertainty in Measurement”) considering contributions to the uncertainty of
measurement resulting from the Standard, the resolution of the instrument, the expected drift
of the instrument, the voltage dependent non-linearity, the frequency dependent non-linearity
and the influence of the temperature in the range 24 °C ± 10 K. Normally, the value of the
measurement lies within the assigned range of values with a probability of 95 %.
The uncertainty stated is related to the moment of the calibration and does not include any
portion for the long-term instability of the object calibrated.

8 Declaration of conformity
The calibration object fulfils the demands of 60060-2 to a measuring instrument for the
measurement of alternating testing voltages and direct testing voltages for the documented
range of calibration and conditions.

9 Hint concerning recognition of the DAkkS-Certificates abroad

Germany’s Accreditation Body DAkkS is signatory to the multilateral agreements of the
European co-operation for Accreditation (EA) and of the International Laboratory
Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC) for the mutual recognition of calibration certificates. The
further signatories inside and outside Europe are listed on the websites of EA
(www.european-accreditation.org) and ILAC (www.ilac.org).
