BARANGAY CLEAN-UP DRIVE – OPLAN LINIS KABATAN

“Magkaisa Kabataan, Para sa Malinis na Kapaligiran”

I. BACKGROUND AND RATIONALE

Environmental sustainability helps prevent global warming and climate change.
One example of environmental sustainability is simply through cleaning.
Cleanliness in the environment contributes a lot in maintaining a clean and
green surrounding. Cleaning is a simple but helpful way of improving a healthy
environment.

The Sangguniang Kabataan will be spearheading a clean-up drive which is a

community-based, environmental initiatives that inspires and empowers
communities to clean up, fix up and conserve our environment.

ii. OBJECTIVES
This activity aims to ensure the environment is safe, clean and healthy; to
ensure environmental sustainability; to promote environmental awareness; to
restore community pride; to engage communities in long term environmental
initiatives; and to enable every citizen of our barangay to contribute to the
prevention of global warming/

iii. TARGET PARTICIPANTS

Katipunan ng Kabataan Members, Sangguniang Kabataan Officials, Barangay
Official and Personnels, 4Ps, AKHRO and Tau Gamma, TUPAD Beneficiaries,
Samahan ng Kababaihan, at constituents of Brgy. Elises.

IV. DATE AND VENUE

March 10, 2024 held at within the jurisdiction of Brgy. Col. J. P. Elises, Gen.
Mariano Alvarez, Cavite.

V. BUDGETARY REQUIREMENT
Expenses to be incurred in this activity shall be charged against SK Funds of the
Barangay in the amount of ₱10,000.00
