Important Dates and Information for Parents and Students

GRADE 9 HEADSTART TO HIGH SCHOOL

A separate email has been sent out to our Grade 9 students and famlies.

STUDENT ACTIVITY FEE FOR SEPTEMBER 2022


As the TDSB is transitioning to a new student information system this summer, the School Cash
On-Line system will not be available to use as a payment method until further notice. Updates
will be sent out just as soon as the system is ready to accept payment.

This activity fee covers the cost of the following:


• Yearbook ($35)
• School Photo ID card ($5)
• Student Activity Fee – financially supports clubs/council/athletic sponsored activities
($20)

If you would prefer to pay in installments, see your Vice-Principal who will be pleased to
make these arrangements with you.

STUDENT FORMS
TDSB uses a system called Permission Click, a system that will directly send a message
to each family requesting that several documents are completed.
This information is critical and must be accurate.

The following forms will be sent:

• Permission to Participate in Off-site Walking Excursions


• Student Media Release Consent (for School/TDSB Events)
• Student Media Release Consent (Media Organizations) • Permission to Leave School in
Severe Weather Conditions (Gr. 6-12)
• Use of Personal E-mail Address
• Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation
• Medical Information Form (511E)
• Acknowledgement: Digital Learning Tool Consent (Grades 3-12)
• Code of Conduct
• Code of On-line Conduct
• Student Declaration and Parent/Guardian Declaration

FIRST DAY OF CLASSES


Please note: Wednesday, September 7, 2022 classes will follow a regular Day 1
Schedule

TIMETABLES
Timetables will be emailed to students prior to the first day of classes and will be
accessible throughout the year using TDSB Connects.

TIMETABLE CHANGES
Students must attend all classes on their timetable and listen to announcements for further
instructions from our Guidance Department.

LOCKERS
Students can access lockers upon registration. Students can purchase combination locks using
the Cash On-line system when it is ready. It is important to note that students must use assigned
lockers and not share lockers.
