Title: Karan Sulfur & Manifa Gas Plant

Description: It was an EPC project, wherein the gas is processed through three trains, each with a
capacity of 600 million SCFD, and included facilities for gas sweetening, acid‐gas enrichment,
gas dehydration and supplementary propane refrigeration.

Responsibilities:
 Facilitating quality assurance & control to the EPC Contractor activities at the Procurement, Construction and
Commissioning phases; ensuring that the contractor’s personnel are using the latest edition of the approved
shop drawings, MS, QCP & ITP as per the Project Master Index
 Developing & managing the project quality assurance processes including audits, reviews, etc. to ensure the
accomplishment of project objectives
 Supervising the progress of manufacturing at EPC contractor premises with regards to the quality & conformity
 Liaising & discussing with engineering for any concession/deviation requested by contractor/vendor; conducting
vendor/contractor visits for quality improvement.
 Evaluating & approving Construction Contractors / Vendor, PQP (Project Quality Plan), ITP (Inspection Test

Responsibilities:
 Involved in developing Integrated Management System for meeting standard requirements of quality standards,
handled inspection of piping materials, control of welding process as per applicable WPS & PQR requirements.
