Job Responsibilities as Mechanical/Piping QC Inspector: 
 
              Material receiving stage. 
 Material receiving inspections at the warehouse & Review vendor documents and packages. 
 Physical verification of material received in accordance with the delivery note and purchase order. 
 Visual Receiving Inspection of Mechanical Equipments, Piping, Valves, as per Purchase order. 
 Responsible for performing inspections at Stores, Daily Activities such as Receiving, Issuing Inspection, 
recording Raw material & equipment documents. 
 Physical verification of material received in accordance with the delivery note and purchase order. 
 Material,  Equipment  preservation  inspection,  and  surveillance  as  per  procedure  &  vendor 
recommendation (Manual, Specification & Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS). 
 Coordinating with Client Inspection Department for timely RFIs approval of materials & Equipment. 
 Ensuring  that  rejected  material  is  properly  identified  and  segregated  (Shifted  to  quarantine)  from 
material  not  yet  inspected  or  Accepted  material.  So  to  recognize  under  inspection  and  material 
inspected and ready for use. 
 Ensuring that material handling and storage as per manufacturer specification / Applicable Standards. 
 Maintain  procedures  to  ensure  the  quality  requirements  are  communicated  to  all  levels  of  the  field 
organization, including sub‐contractor. 
 Witnessing Raw material PMIs. 
Shop Fabrication Inspection. 
 Ensuring that material handling and storage as per manufacturer specification / Applicable Standards. 
 Review Project drawings and apply Contract Codes, Standards, and Specifications. 
 Perform  surveillance  inspections  for  the  work  defined  in  the  assigned  discipline.  Carry  out  Planned 
Inspections,  Surveillance  Inspections,  and  release  hold  points,  witness  Piping  /  Support  fabrication 
inspection at the fabrication shop.  
 Verifying drawing revision status being used at the shop, checking tools & equipment being used are 
calibrated and the working environment is acceptable as per procedure. 
 Responsible for evaluating all Non‐Conformities (NCR’s) observed/reported within the group, ensuring 
their correct specification and the effectiveness of corrective and preventive action implemented. 
 Ensuring raw material used in shop inspected & accepted and monitor material control system. 
 Coordinate with the Client team in order to perform all inspection as per Approved ITP requirements. 
 Delivered Quality toolbox (TBT) on various activities to the fabrication staff in order to aware of the 
importance of Quality. 
 Bevel inspection as per approved WPS, ASME B31.3, B31.1 or applicable standard. Daily fit‐up 
inspection and surveillance inspection of fabrication. 
 Conduct socket gap inspection as per gap control procedure & ASME B31.3. B31.1 or applicable 
standard. 
 Inspection/ Verifying implementation of spool identification systems. 
 Dimensional inspection of completed assemblies & Final inspection Release of fabricated assemblies 
from shop to site. 
 
Site Installation Inspection 
 Ensuring  that  material/Equipment  handling  and  storage  is  as  per  manufacturer  specification  / 
Applicable Standards. 
 Coordinate with the Client team in order to perform all inspection as per Approved ITP requirements. 
 Inspection/verifying all construction activities as per applicable standards & Approved ITP. 
 Verify foundations and anchor bolts for pre‐installation inspection.  
 Verify equipment installation and orientation as per drawings. 
 Verify equipment internals installations as per drawings.

  Inspection for support installation, shoe, reinforcement pad, guide, shim plate, stopper, and special 
supports as per approval IFC drawings. 
 Training of workers for proper flange assembly and bolts torquing as per the procedure. 
 Inspection of flanged joints (Gasket verification, Flange face & Bolts torque). Witnessing bolt 
tensioning by the subcontractor. 
 Cross verification of ISO with P&ID to confirm the correct Equipment nozzle connection and flow

 Toolbox talks for crew about work safety during pressure testing & ensuring inspection activities as 
per approve safety procedure. 
 Witnessing & Report preparation of hydro test/gravity test/leak test/ and pneumatic test. 
 Witnessing & monitoring lay‐up and piping preservation after testing up to pre‐commissioning.  
 Carried out inspection, testing, and walkthrough for auxiliary services i.e steam tracing lines. 
 Inspection of piping reinstatement and final MCC punches. Compilation of project quality record 
books as per project requirements. 
 Witnessing & Report preparation of piping internal cleaning with chemical & pigging at pre‐commissioning. 
 Witnessing & Report preparation of pre‐commissioning activities, Air Blowing. Water Flushing, Final layup 
and longtime preservation. 
 Witnessing/verification of final alignments of piping to equipment nozzles. 
 Vessel internal inspection before box‐up and box‐up inspection.

 Baseline TML measurement and data collection. 
 Recording dimension out of tolerance, in the dimensional report & presenting to concern project 
quality control department for preparation of the non‐conform report to obtain the resolution from 
the engineering department and final concurrence from the client. 
 Prepare and issue of Non‐conformance /Surveillance reports and Logbook entries. 
 Reply Client LBEs & Standard violation & Suggest & Implement corrective action, Preventive action 
statement for non‐conformances & Client LBEs. 
 Close Non‐conformance, Client LBEs & standard violation after implementation of corrective action. 
 
Job Responsibilities as a Test pack Coordinator: 

 Prepared sample test package and get it approved by the Client. 
 Established test packs center scope of work and interface points with construction & pre‐
commissioning department. 
 Define & implement responsibility Matrix for test packs team including sub‐contractor QC, 
Construction, testing groups of sub‐contractor, contractor. 
 Define the test packs workflow get it approved from SAPMT. At implementation workflow 
performed to speed‐up test packs activities without any major hold‐up. 
 The workflow was created in a way to cover all aspects of QA/QC including control of Pre‐test 
punch listing, Weld summery review, NDE, Flanged joints & Supports. 
 Test packs tracking system created to control flow, Reporting of test packs at every stage of testing. 
 Lay‐up monitoring system created to control and implement SAES‐A‐007 & SAER‐8552 
requirements.
