Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing to share some advice for new students in my college. Having been studying here for 3
years I have some experience which can be useful for freshmen.

To begin with study skills, I would like to say that taking notes could be really helpful for newcomers.
Usually, professors create questions for exams according to their lectures so key information and
high concentration are the most important things for achieving the best results.

Another popular topic for discussing is living in a new city. I understand that it is a new stage in your
life, which makes a lot of teenagers afraid. Whereas, my experience shows that living far from
parents has many advantages and makes us grow up and be more responsible.

One more thing to consider, living in a new city means that you need to be financially liberated.
There are some tips how to manage your money wisely. Firstly, try not to waste it for useless and
expensive things. Secondly, finding a part time job is a brilliant way to feel the value of money.
Finally, downloading a coin keeper application will help you to see where you have money-leaking
moments and help you to avoid a personal economical crisis.

I hope my advice would be useful for new students in our college and my recommendation will be
posted on the website.

Yours faithfully,

Oksana Yaremenko
