Role purpose
Job Purpose Quality Assurance Inspector major role is to conduct Inspection to all
crucial process that prevents flaws or defects with products before they
occur by improving the design, worker training, documentation,
management and process audits.

Role Responsibilities
1. Establishing quality standards for products manufactured.
2. Reading blueprints and specifications to ensure that operations meet
production standards.
3. Recommending any necessary adjustments and changes to production
processes.
4. Inspecting and testing the materials and equipment manufactured.
5. Using gadgets such as micrometer screw gauges to measure products
6. Removing products that don’t meet production standards and
recommending strategies to improve product quality
7. Accepting or rejecting finished products and discussing inspection
results with the production team
8. Performing inspections at random to assess product quality.
9. Approve or reject raw materials with respect to quality standards and
record supplier performance
10. Select output samples and check them using appropriate methods
(measuring dimensions, testing functionality, comparing to
specifications etc.)
11. Use automated systems to perform complex testing procedures
12. Maintain records of testing, information and various metrics such as
number of defective products per day etc.
13. Inspect procedures of the entire production cycle to ensure they are
efficient and comply with safety standards
14. Monitor the use of equipment to ensure it is safe and well-maintained
and discard any that doesn’t meet requirements
15. Prepare and submit reports to the Quality Assurance Manager.

Person specification

Essential skills:
 Pharm. D, B.Sc (Chemistry) or higher Education either fresh or
with upto minimum 1 years experience.
 Previous experience of Pharmaceutical Quality Control is a plus
 Exposure and hands-on knowledge at different manufacturing
disciplines is a definite plus
 Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
English fluency essential
 Professional computer and MS-Office skills

Essential attributes:
 High mental effort is required.
 Requires a lot of high physical effort for testing/inspection/sampling
of RM, PM, Bulk, Inprocess, Finished Products and for trouble
shooting activities.
 Requires a lot of visual efforts to accomplish documentation and
