Refer back to Lesson 2: Circuit training, paying special attention to creating a


fitness circuit.

Question 1.1 [10 marks ÷ 2 = 5 marks]

Design your fitness circuit by redrawing and filling in the table below. You would

need to develop skills in the three fitness components of agility, strength and

cardiovascular fitness. Your table needs to include the following:

● Name and briefly describe FIVE exercises that focus on at least ONE of the

three fitness components mentioned above.

● EACH of these THREE fitness components should be featured at least

ONCE.

● Note that an exercise may test more than one component of fitness.

● Include the number of reps or time spent on each exercise.

● Explain how each one of these exercises helps to develop the specific

fitness component. In other words, what is the purpose of this exercise?
