Duathlon on the Clark Field Pampanga t over the holiday period. The event will host some of the best
cyclists and runners from both Philippines and around the world competing for prize money and

Negative and Positive Impact:

Endurance sports have some of the highest rates of injury among all professional
sports. According to studies, long-distance triathletes experience injury rates ranging
from 37% to 91%. The majority of these injuries, especially in Ironman distance races,
are caused by overuse. That's why endurance athletes often include physical therapy,
chiropractic, and massage treatments as part of their daily routines to help with
rehabilitation and recovery. However, the problem arises when these rehab techniques
are mistaken for performance-based training, which aims to enhance the body's
physical capabilities such as strength, speed, power, and so on.

Regular endurance training is proven to reduce tissue loss, improve the functioning of
important nodes in brain areas related to executive control, and increase gray and white
matter volume in the prefrontal cortex. This can help to lower age-related cognitive
impairment, and is particularly beneficial for individuals in their middle years, when the
brain undergoes a series of changes that can lead to the development of
neurodegenerative disorders, such as dementia. That is why participating in triathlons
may have an even greater impact on brain health and overall well-being. continues with
a regular pattern of exercise, they become accustomed to it. Even when things do not
go as planned, one learns to recover from the setbacks and continue. It is a universal
truth that exercising always makes you feel better. Essentially, endurance exercise and
triathlon contests are all about preparing ahead of time, mental toughness, and the
capacity to stick to the plan even when motivation is low.

Risk management is a vital component of event planning because it ensures that you
can react quickly and appropriately. Know your risks, build appropriate approaches for
reducing or preventing them, and you will be successfully on your way to making an
event that is secure and safe.
Recommendations :

A duathlon race. It's best to split your time evenly between the two disciplines. However,
if you discover that you are weaker in one part of the activity, it is best to devote more
time to refining that discipline. It is also necessary to integrate both disciplines into a
single session so that your body can adjust to the quick change-over.

We recognize that keeping staff and participants safe can be enough to maintain even
the most seasoned event professionals fully awake at night. Establishing a duty of care
plan can help to ease your mind.

An enough staff team should be around to track and keep under surveillance on the
happenings and safety during the event. This factor could help to prevent risks. It can
also be a big help to visitors and participants to help those in need. It should monitor all
the areas in the event.
