C) EXPLAIN
The Teacher will discuss the Menstrual Cycle and Its Phases. the In relation to that, today we are
going to learn about menstrual cycle and its phases. (Provided with HOTS and LOTS questions.)
D) ELABORATE
The Teacher will give the students another activity. The students will draw/illustrate the 4 phases
of menstrual cycle and label each of the phases with their simple definition and the number of days
its occuring. (Provided with materials.)

Determine whether the statement is true or false. Write T if the statement is true and F if the

A) Identify the phase of menstrual cycle described in each item below. Write your answers in a
whole sheet of paper
1. An egg in the ovary continuous to mature. Just before the mid-cycle, the mature egg moves to the
surface of the ovary.
2. The lining of the uterus called endometrium becomes thicker in preparation for implantation of
fertilized egg.
3. This occurs when the fertilization does not take place.
4. The mature egg is released. It travels through the fallopian tube and move towards the uterus.
