ON-SITE INSTALLATION OF GROUNDING SYSTEM AS DEFINED IN THE

SPECIFICATION AND PLANS FOR BRYANT PARKLANE

I-ORIENTATION OF CREW

Electricians must be fully oriented with all the aspects needed in the installation of Grounding System.

II- INSTALLATION

Step 1: Install ground rods as indicated on plans or as required on site condition.

Step 2: Install conductors with direct paths from ground rods and to ground connections.
Step 3: Thermo weld connections between cables and ground rods at Ground wells. Use ground
clamps for embedded rods and cables.
Step 4: Measure the resistance of the complete installation prior to concrete pouring and
record the results.
III- Safety

iii.1 All safety precautions shall be followed as per safety procedure and ensure all involved
persons are aware of the same.
iii.2 Provide fire extinguisher during thermo welding works.
iii.3 Ensure that crew will keep their working places clean, orderly and free from debris.
