Psalms 107:19-21 / Romans 12:1 (read and opening prayer)

Introduction:
• Book of romans was written by Apostle Paul-on this verse, he urging us
to offer our body-supporting verse came from the book of Paul also
• Do not Sleep - Ptr. Gilbert/Me are not the same – (testify)

WHY did Paul urge us to offer:

1 Our body as a Living Sacrifice
To be fully at God’s Disposal, to offer your BODY to do righteousness, not sin
2 Holy
Godly, blameless, moral purity, without sin
3 Pleasing to God
When we put our Faith to God (Umiikot lang ang buhay mo sa Diyos)
But why we have to do this? Hinde ko ba kayang gawin ang mga ito?

Sino ang kalaban natin? Bakit ko kailangang pray.

Ephesians 6:12 (KJV)

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against
powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual
wickedness in high places.

Remember that: Ptr. Gilbert told us that the battle ground is this world at ito
ang home court ni satan, yung sa atin ay yung sa loob lang ng bahay natin.
Kung sports niyo ay taguan, lugi tayo sa kanya

- Paul knew that the human capability - character is weak kaya nga nag
urge/hinikayat niya tayo na i-offer ang ating body as a:
1. Living Sacrifice
2. Holy
3. Pleasing to God
- And our enemy is a master of deception – baka nakakalimutan nyo
- Kahit malalim o rooted na sa word of God ang isang Christiano, still potential
to have hell in his/her mind.
- Gusto kong ipaalala sa inyo, sa bawat isa sa atin lalo na sa mga parents(sa mga
tatay na nag protekta ng kanilang pamilya), satan hinde patas lumaban. Don’t
expect napag nilabanan mo siya, patas siyang haharap sa iyo.
Pag humawak ka ng kutsilyo – siya hahawak ng samurai
Pag hahawak ka ng 38caliber – siya hahawak ng tangke
KASWELO MO TONG, labanan ka ng parehas, very well explain in John 10:10

- Si Satanas, mandaraya yan, sinungaling yan, at dahil sinungaling yan, lahat ng

kasinongalingan ilalagay nya sa iyo. Sasabihin nya sa iyo, wala kang kwentang
tao (asawa, tatay, anak, pamilya) at ito ka lang, yan lang mararating mo, pangit
ka kasi, kaya walang plano ang Diyos sa iyo. Hinde ka mahal ng Diyos at he will

- Ibabalik niya ang mga kapalpakan mo before, napagtagumpayan mo, uulitin

nya ulit sa iyo na ganyan, ganito ka, mga bisyo mo.
- He will make an opportunity to temp you, to trick you, pag mumukhain ni
satan na tama ang mali at ang mali ay tama. Ang foolishness ay wisdom at
wisdom ay foolishness

- Mag-ingat ka because satan, do not fight a fair fight, satan always use
deception in your life (Family) because he is a master of deception

SO, ano ang gagawin namin? WHAT SHOULD WE DO?

Kung ako tatanungin nyo – Magtatanong din ako kila pastor (Dami nating pastor
dito sa Church, Gilbert, Dave, Terrie, Ben)

But Paul also said:

Ephesians 6:13 (KJV)
13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to
withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

What are the armor of God (Ephesians 6:14-17)

Armour of God (If God’s permit at mabigyan ako ng pagkakataon in Ptr.)
1. Belt of Truth
2. Breastplate of Righteousness
3. Sandal with the Gospel of Peace
4. Shield of Faith
5. Helmet of Salvation
6. Sword of the Spirit

Ephesians 6:14
14 Stand therefore, having your loins grit about with truth, (Belt of Truth)
John 14:6 (I am the Way, the Truth and the Life)
Jesus as our belt that worn closely to our body, the truth that always surround us.
So that we can distinguish what is the true from what is the untrue
“Minsan” Mga tatay (Other Christian) alam na mali – tinotolerate pa nila
mga anak nila.

Tandaan nyo: Ang maling Gawain, lalo na pag saharap ng bata - ito gagawin o
palagi mong ginagawa, ito ay nagiging TAMA sa mata ng bata
• Kaya kahit mali, dahil IDOL ka ni bunso, gagayahin din CGURADO
• Proud pa, anak ko, lakas tumoma no

Truth(Jesus) must worn closely to our body (Mamuhay may Jesus in our HEART)

and having on the Breastplate of Righteousness; (Body armor)
Breastplate is to protect our hearts against sin and the enemy’s attack
And righteousness give us a “Right to stand with God” (Ephesians 4:24) NIV

“Ayon sa Diyos nilalang tayo sa katwiran at kabanalan ng katotohanan”

If we do not protect ourselves, our family with righteousness, we open ourselves

and our family, to the enemy.

“WE” are allowing the enemy to attack us (our family) and can have the possibility
to fell into satan’s trap and commit sins (which is not pleasing to God)

Tayong mga magulang: Magkapera lang kahit illegal na ang ginagawa ng

Anak ok pa din, mangangatwiran pa ng mali pag
Pag nasita ni pastor

UUTANG – pampera naman, may bagong sakit

AMNASIA – Kawawa si ptr. O inutangan
Ito ba ay tamang katwiran?

Lalo na mga Kabataan: Mangangatwiran pa ng baloktot

Pagpipilitan ang katwiran kahit mali

Since we have “Right to stand with God” mga Bro/Sis

Praktisin natin at ipamuhay

Ephesians 6:15
15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
Having our feet a shoes or sandal of the Gospel of Peace, It allow us to
share the Good News, Gospel of God, that Jesus is the Savior.

2 Tim 4:2 (NIV) “Preach the message, be ready whether it is convenient or

not, reprove, rebuke, exhort with complete patience and instruction”

We always prepare (tatay, nanay, anak), if there is an opportunity that arise,

BOOM share the Good News, the Gospel of God

 • Pag pumasok si Kristo sa puso mo – Ipasok mo din Kristo sa Pamilya nyo
• Problema pag sinabihan mo na (Bro/Sis) tumayo ka at mag share
Sagot s aiyo: Nahihiya ako eh, di pa ako handa ptr.

That “WE” have Courage to spread the Gospel, without hesitant and with
confidence of the truth that we are saved by the blood of the LAMB

Ephesians 6:16
16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all
the fiery darts of the wicked.
This is God’s Shield is the protector of our Christian life, to trust God that He
will always look for you, safe guard you.

What is FAITH – trusting someone or believing or confidence

• Without faith, it is impossible to pleased God (Hebrew 11:6)
• But with Faith - Trusting God, you and family will get the favor of God

Kami na experience namin ng family ko – and as a father (Masakit)

Nag tanong nan ga akp kay Lord, BAKIT? Pogi naman ako

SO sagot niya - Entrust your family to ME

Nawawalan na kasi ako ng FAITH sa kanya nuon sa problema o

pagsubok na dinadanas namin. Imagin Pinalayas kami sa bahay na
tinitirahan/inuupahan namin (literally) hanggang sa makalipat kami sa
BRIA then We start Praying ng Sama sama

Binalik niya ang dati naming sitwasyon na di man sagana at maraming

pera, pero sapat para sa lahat ng pangangailangan ng pamilya ko

It symbolizes Stability, Protection, Longevity, Solidity, Masculinity, Toughness,

Boldness, Confidence, no retreat, no surrender

Ang pamilya – dapat samasama and this church (JTGLC) is one big family at
lalong lalaki pa ito pag nagging one spirit at ma-please natin si God

Ephesians 6:17
17 And take the helmet of salvation,
When we have the Helmet of Salvation, (John 3:16), Jesus Christ himself
protects not just our head but our entire being from spiritual death.
Everyday our life is focus on eternity and the promised of God in the near future,
the new heaven and earth.

After we enter Jesus in our family, it will not end on that scenario.
We parents, as what Ptr. Gilbert Told as; protect our salvation and the salvation of
the family to reach our vision, goal, and WHAT is that?

Pagnakita mo na family member, THEIR name is written in the book of Life

Napakasarap siguro pag kasama mo asawa mo, lahat ng mga anak mo at mga apo
kahit ilang generation na ang lumipas. Kasama mo sila na nagpupuri sa ating
Panginoon duon sa kingdom ni God. Amen po ba?

AND lastly:
and the sword of the spirit, which is the word of God:
As what I’ve said kanina, maging mananampalataya, pamilya rooted na sa
salita ng Diyos kaya pangpasukin ng kaaway, always read the holy book, the word
of God, day and night, as Joshua wrote in Joshua 1:8, at ipamuhay

BECAUSE:
The word of God is very powerful (Hebrew 4:12)
“For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged
sword, piercing to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of joints and
marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the hearts.”

Ang dila na yan, talagang makapangyarihan:

• Try to make a storey (Tsismis), kayang manira/mag wasak ng pamilya
• Kaya kang ipakulong nyan (Marites mong nag nakaw si SO & SO)

We (father, wife, anak) must know how to USE the word of God, pag inatake ka ni
satan. May mga verses o word of God kang ipang lalaban sa kanya.

KAYA DAPAT:
Each and every member of the family, specially mga parents (tayong mga
parents), dapat and always nakasuot ng spiritual armor of God. Maging halimbawa
sa mga anak, sa mga Kabataan, para pag nakapamilya din sila. Ang sarap sigurong
makita n naglalakad – namumuhay – sa ilalim ng kalooban ng Diyos, suot-suot ang
baluti na ito nanakasulat dito sa Ephesians 6:14-17 – ARMOR of God (Amen)

Itong list of prayer that we have here, palagay ko di natin proproblimahin. “IF” we
are rooted in the word of God and trusting God in our daily journey on this world.
Protected from satan which is always roaming around, waiting an opportunity to
devour “US”(Christian’s, Parents, Family, workers on church) pag naka OFFGAURD

Using the armor of God, Protektado tayo, amen po ba? PRAY and Pray
Kaya patuloy tayong PRAY, isuot ang armor at patuloy na mag trust kay God,
ingatan ang family natin, mga anak, for our daily life, kasi siya lang talaga ang
kasagutan. God is the ANSWER AMEN po ba?
