UPCOMING EVENTS
Next week we will learn the sight words
“she, her”. We will be working on alliteration and
Learning Targets coming up with our own fun alliteration sentences!
✓ I can read and spell the sight word “where”. Mary made muffins on Monday!
✓ I can spell and write words with beginning and end In writing we will begin writing opinion
blends. Ask about our boys vs. girls race game! pieces! This is always fun!

This math unit is really helping students understand
ones and tens place value. We are using ten rods
and single ones to add ones and tens and then find
them on the number chart! They are learning that
as you go down the chart, you’re adding 10. When
you move to the right, you’re adding 1.
