Natural resources are innately found on Earth, and
they are useful to humans in many ways. They can
be biotic, such as plants, animals, and fossil fuels; or
they can be abiotic, meaning they originate from
non-living and inorganic materials

The Philippines is considered rich in natural

resources. We have fertile, arable lands, high
diversity of plant and animals, extensive coastlines,
https://www.google.com/url? and rich mineral deposits. We have natural gas,
coal, and geothermal energy. Wind and water are
also harnessed for electricity generation.

Earth natural resources can be classified as

renewable resources are those which can be replaced
naturally within the time the supply is being used like air,
water, animals and plants while non-renewable resources
are those that cannot be replaced in a short period of
time because they take millions of years to form like fossil
fuel, soil, metal and non-metals.

Fasten your seatbelt! Come and lets tour around

the Philippines to be able to:

Main Task:
Recognize that the soil, water, rocks, coal, and
fossil fuels are earth materials that people use as
resources.
Sub-tasks:
●Identify the natural resources found in the
Philippines

●Relate the resources found in our place with its

location
● Appreciate the importance of earth resources
