Welcome to the Department of Social Welfare and Development Field Office MIMAROPA!
It is the Department’s pleasure to have you join us in the fulfillment of our mission to lead in
the formulation, implementation, and coordination of social welfare and development
policies and programs for and with the poor, vulnerable, and disadvantaged.
To assist you in your new journey, the Learning & Development Section invites you to our
2-Day Virtual Job Orientation cum Gender Sensitivity, and Occupational Safety & Health
Standards Orientation via Google Meet.

To our PARTICIPANTS, our virtual room will be open 15 minutes prior to the start of the preliminary activity.
Please be cognizant of the following reminders:
Test your technology beforehand. This includes testing for a solid internet connection and making sure that both the
camera and audio microphone are working.
Be on time and pay attention. Other attendees can see on their screens exactly when you join a meeting—and we will
entertain your queries after each discussion.
Have a clean background and good lighting. Choosing a clean and organized space will be less distracting for other
participants in the call. Also, proper lighting allows all attendees to see you clearly while you are talking.
Don't forget to mute yourself when you’re not speaking. The mute button is a powerful way to reduce noisy meeting
disruptions. Always confirm that your microphone is on mute when you’re not an active speaker.
