Rationale/Background Information
The seedling was planted last November 20, 2023 on a small pot outside our
house and was then transferred unto plowed soil in our backyard last November 22,
2023. My mother helped me with transferring the tree seedlings. It was regularly
watered and It has a good spot for the sunlight so that it can grow easily.
What does your tree parenting symbolize?
My tree-parenting represents life, recovery, and wealth. The Paper Tree roots
serve as a source of LIFE, supporting the tree's overall ability on the other hand,
serve as a HEALER, providing exceptional benefits for healing and well-being; and
finally, its great promotes the prosperity of all living things as well as the
environment.
Self- Tree Parenting can significantly impact personal growth and well-being by
fostering a sense of connection, support, and shared responsibility with family. It
can shape understanding of family dynamics and personal engagement.
IV. Monitoring
In my monitoring I saw the difference in the tree I planted, when I planted it was
still small but now it has grown and the leaves and branches of my planted tree are
increasing.

SECOND SEMESTER
SEMESTRAL TASK: TREE PARENTING
In not more than ten (10) sentences, describe/narrate your experience in planting a tree. What steps
did you take and concerns you met in the process? What value did you learn from the experience?
Illustrate further. Use the space provided below for your narrative. Please attach pictures when you
planted the seedling.
My Tree Parenting Experience, I carefully selected a suitable spot in my backyard with adequate
sunlight and well-draining soil for planting a tree. After digging a hole, I added organic compost to
enrich the soil and placed the sapling gently, ensuring its roots were spread out. I watered it
thoroughly and mulched around the base to retain moisture. Over the weeks and months, I faced
challenges like pests and extreme weather, prompting me to research and implement pest control
measures and provide additional support during storms. Observing the tree's growth became a
rewarding routine; from the initial tiny leaves to its gradual height increase. I learned the importance
of patience and nurturing, realizing that establishing a strong foundation is crucial for long-term
success.
