At the end of the lesson, the students should be able to:
a. Discuss the step-by-step procedures in sewing the side seam of children’s wear.
b. Sew each side seam of the children’s wear.

Step by step procedure in sewing the side

seam.

1.Prepare the side seam

2.On the wrong side, mark the fabric where
you are going to sew.
3. Thread your sewing needle and tie the ends
of the thread together.
1. 4. Pierce the needle through the side of the
fabric people won't see.
2. 5. Guide the needle through the other side of
the fabric.
3. 6.Sew the side seams of the dress
4. 7. Continue stitching until you reach the end
of the fabric.
5. 8. Finish the stitching with a knot.
9.Press the side seams open using the iron.
10. Repeat the step on the other side.
