ACTIVITY PROPOSAL

I - ACTIVITY TITLE: 2022 SCHOOL - BASED MATHEMATICS FESTIVAL

II - RATIONALE:
In preparation to the Upcoming Division Mathematics Competition, the Mathematics
Department of Agusan del Sur National High School annually holds its School-Based Mathematics
Festival with the theme: "MATHEMATICS UNITES."
The school level celebration involves different educational events and contest that will
include student's participation in a VOLUNTARY MANNER NOT COMPULSORY.
The said activity include funds to support the activity's decoration, contest materials, awards/
prizes and other contest miscellaneous expenses, thus a registration of Ten pesos (Php 10.00 ) will be
collected from the participants for them to qualify and join in all events.
III - OBJECTIVES:
1. Provide students the opportunity to hasten their problem solving skills on the different contents in
mathematics;
2. Apply mathematical concept using educational games;
3. Develop students critical and analytical thingking;
4. Foster healthy competition among students;
5. Acquire knowledge and skills in damath and rubik's cube; and
6. Produce mathematically inclined students who will represent to the division, region, national and
international levels
