Research Procedures

Participants will complete a validated science anxiety questionnaire, such as a Likert

scale, to measure their level of science-related anxiety. The academic achievement of the

participants is checked with validated general science test questions that measure their academic

performance. In order to accomplish this, participants will be recruited and informed by letter of

consent if the researchers obtain approval. After validation, researchers will conduct a pilot

testing on BSE Science students at the University of Eastern Pangasinan. The aim of the pilot

test was to evaluate and enhance strategies to support the researcher in modifying and

redesigning the questionnaires. The researchers will distribute revised questionnaires, if any, to

the target respondents which are BSE Science students from first to third year at Pangasinan

State University, Urdaneta Campus.
