3.1 Charging Procedure:

3.1.1 After filling the cells a reaction time of 2 hours must be maintained
3.1.2 Start commissioning charge with decreasing current
3.1.3 Recording: time, current, voltage and electrolyte temperature until all
cells have reached minimum 2.6V and the density risen to nominal
value of 1.22kg/l without any further increase
3.1.4 The temperature must not exceed 55°C
3.1.5 Switch to trickle charging voltage 2.23V/cell
