Awareness Motivation: Guess the song and the Composer!


The teacher will show some lyrics of the song and let students identify the title and the composer of the given lyrics
of the song.

- Based on the answers of the students in the preparatory activity, the teacher will ask the students “What is the
lesson for today’s meeting?".
Let the students play the game “Name That Tune”!

Activity
a. Divide the players into two teams and choose one person from each team to be the hummer. The two
hummers choose a tune to hum or whistle, and both teams listen to the tune. Once the hummers have
finished, the two teams take turns guessing the name of the song or the artist who performed it. The first
team to correctly identify the tune earns a point. The game continues with new hummers selected for each
round, and the first team to reach a predetermined number 5 points win the game.

Analysis
Based on the previous activity, ask the following questions:
1. How did you express the songs?
2. How important are songs in expressing our emotions?
3. What type of songs did you guess from the first activity?
4. What is the significance of vocal music in the preservation of our culture?
