Hop- came from a rapper named Robert Keith
“Cowboy” Wiggins who was in the US Army who used
to rap the words hip-hop-hip-hop while mimicking
the sequence of the marching soldiers which later
became hip-hop into stage performances.

Artists performed the dance with disco goers with

new kind of DJ music and they call the dancers hip-
hoppers. The DJ’s used rhythmic beats by looping
accompanied by “rapping”. Which was later known as
beatboxing.
Hip-hop became popular in other countries which
also connected with graffiti craze. These art forms
not just showcase talents, but they also express social
and political issues.
