Review:
The teacher will say last meeting we have discussed about the history of hip-
hop. Kindly tell me something about it.

Motivation:
The teacher will ask the students to be ready for their motivational activity.
Before we start the discussion, let’s have a short game. This game is called
“Celebrity name game” “I will flash some pictures that is related to our topic
and all you have to do is guess the name of dancers, rappers or the dance
group.

– The King of Pop and a dancer.

-an American hip-hop dance crew, best
known for being the winners of the first
season of America's Best Dance Crew in

-A dancer. He is part of the dance group Streetboys in
the Philippines.
AC Bonifacio
-She is a dancer.
- first ever grand champion of Filipino TV
dance competition Dance Kids along with
Ancheta In 2016. The duo was called
"Lucky Aces."

B. Establishing a The teacher will show a PowerPoint and discuss the basic steps of Hip-hop.
Purpose for the Lesson 1. Touch step- is the basic step in Hip-hop dance. It is a step touch in
side to side.

it, and continuing at the same speed before.

Q2. What do you call the steps that uses
both body and hand? (body drop)
Q3. What is the most basic step of hip-hop? (the touch step)
The teacher will assign to the students that I will give them 20 minutes to
practice and create your own dance routine that uses different basic steps of
hip-hop. Your Time Starts now
The Teacher will stop the time after 20 minutes. The students will now done
creating their own dance routine, they will now perform it using this rubric.

Coordination – 30 %
Right choice of music – 20%
Total – 100%
