Submission Date: 30 May 2024 2.PROCEDURES 2.1. The University has conducted a survey among university students and the neighboring school to assess the need for a rehabilitation center on campus. 2.2.Interviewed with university students, employees and other members from their neighboring school to obtain more information on the importance of the rehabilitation center in question. 2.3.Previous researchers in the study have experienced some of the importance of the center in providing necessary support among students in issues concerned with mental illness, abuse of drugs, and other challenges. 2.4. Analyzed staffing needs, space requirements and the financial implications of constructing and maintaining a rehabilitation center. 3.FlNDlNGS 3.1.80% of university students and neighboring school who participated in the survey reported that they support the school rehabilitation center on campus and the type of support they believe will be useful. 3.2. Many students raised their concern over the lack of services supporting them in terms of metal substances abuse and the neighboring school also agreed on such services as useful. 3.3.Data analyzed from the research indicated high need for rehabilitation center at Malusi University campuses. 3.4. The Financial analysis indicates initial construction costs can be offset by long-term benefits to students and the community. 4.CONCLUSIONS 4.1. The construction of a rehabilitation center at the university is feasible and has the potential to greatly benefit both university students and the neighboring school. It will be a source of great help to students and the neighboring school at large for pivotal issues like mental health and addiction. 4.2. Strong student support, opportunities for collaboration opportunities with the neighboring school, and positive outcomes from current models all indicate that rehabilitation center will be beneficial to Neighboring school. 4.3. The financial analysis shows that the project is feasible and sustainable in the long term. 5.RECOMMENDATIONS 5.1. Working with the mental health services and experts to make a comprehensive plan for rehabilitation center, ensuring it meets the specific needs of the university community would be a great help for students and the neighboring school. 5.2. Establish partnerships with the neighboring school to enhance the reach and impact of the center and implement a comprehensive support program within the center to address the diverse needs of students. 5.3.Regularly evaluate the effectiveness of the center through feedback from students, stakeholders to ensure continuous improvement and overall, the construction of a rehabilitation center at the university holds great promise for enhancing student wellbeing and fostering positive relationships with the neighboring school.
