was geared towards achieving its main goal, to provide every

classroom a built in TV which aimed to help teachers
introduce innovative instructional materials through creative
power point presentation, video clips and computer aided
instructions in the classroom instruction using the built-in
televisions. Further, this program enabled the teachers to
integrate ICT programs for continuous improvement of their
content, pedagogical knowledge, practice, skills and attitudes
in their respective subject area while developing the skills
and competencies of the students as identified in the K to 12
curriculum.

The project was able to attain its goal of generating

funds to finance one the priority projects of the school, the
Project ETV: Every Classroom, One TV. After the project, the
school was able to purchase 12 units of 32’ ACE LED TV
which were distributed to 12 teacher-advisers who sold the
most number of tickets to the internal and external
stakeholders of the school. Presently, the newly purchased
LED TVs were already installed to the 12 classrooms of the
school. Further, the teachers and the students were already
using the TVS in their classroom instruction.

It can be seen that the installation of the TVs in the

classroom directly impacted the performance of the teachers
and the students in the teaching and learning process. With
the use of the TV, the classroom instruction becomes more
engaging and exciting. The teachers as well became more
creative in delivering their lessons through innovative and
interactive power point presentation, video clips and video
lectures and lessons using the aid of built in Television. It
was really evident that Project E-TV created authentic
experiences and opportunities for the teachers to integrate
ICT programs for continuous improvement of their content,
pedagogical knowledge, practice, skills and attitudes in their
respective subject area while developing the skills and
competencies of the students as identified in the K to 12
curriculum

Rich with ideals, the school together with the internal

and external stakeholders would like to continue the goal of
the project of providing every classroom a television. As of
now, the school has installed a total of 12 TV in 12
classrooms. With the aspiration of achieving each classroom
one TV, the school will continue to initiate IGPs to complete

the remaining 18 classrooms without TV. With the

realization of the project, the school will be able to provide
quality service through authentic and relevant innovations
through IGPs.

C. Assessment/ After the installation of the 32’ LED TV in 12

Evaluation classrooms, the number of teachers who preferred to use TV
for classroom instruction rapidly increased. After the
installation of the 12 TVs in the classrooms last September,
all the teachers who were attending the class in the 12
classrooms were monitored. Based on the monitoring form,
75% or 72 out of 96 classes in week 1 used the aid of TVs in
their classroom instruction. A further 84% or 81 of 96
classes used TVs in week 2. A significant increase was
recorded in week 3 since 90% or 86 of 96 classes preferred to
use TV in their classroom instruction. For week 4, a notable
increase was also noted since 97% or 93 of 96 classes used
the TV in their teaching and learning process. It can be
gleaned from the data that most of teachers preferred to use
TV as an aid for classroom instruction for the month of
September.

Further, a lot of irregular students became more

involved in the class activities. This means that the students
were more interested in attending the class with the teacher
using the aid of TV for classroom instruction. It was also
observed that the participation of the students in the
classroom instruction improved. The students were much
more engaged and excited to cooperate and collaborate in the
authentic learning experience.

On the other hand, the teachers and students were

also asked on their reactions on the use of TV as aid for
instruction. Most of the responses were positive specifically
citing the advantages of the TV in the teaching and learning
process. The teachers and students were also overwhelmed
that the school prioritized the project since it addressed the
challenges in maintaining the interaction in the classroom
instruction. Lastly, the students were very thankful of the
built-in 32’ LED TV in their classrooms. The students added
that the TVs add more excitement as they attend and listen
to the discussion of teachers.

Generally, the teachers and students gave positive

responses regarding the impact of the Project ETV to the

internal stakeholders of the school. It is therefore concluded
that Project ETV was successful IGP initiative accomplishing
its goal to provide TVs in classrooms for interactive
classroom instruction.

D. Impact/Significance to The project helped the students, teachers, school

the Beneficiaries head and school as a whole. For the students, the creative
ppts, slides, videos and audio clips brought the students to
experience interactive and innovative approach in teaching
and learning process. The class activities became more
interactive because a lot of students were actively engaged in
the discussion. The project also motivated those consistent
absentees to attend to the class regularly. With the aid of TV
in the classroom instruction, most of the students were able
to show their interest in the class activities.

For the teachers, the installation of TVs in the

classroom brought a lot of convenience on the part of the
teachers. With the use of TV, the teachers were able to
demonstrate their creativity in delivering their lessons.
Additionally, the teachers also improved their existing
teaching strategies, pedagogies, instructional materials,
innovations, interventions in order to continue adopt to the
inevitable change in the system of education because of the
advances and breakthroughs in the social media platforms.

For the school head, the comments of the teachers

and students in the implementation of Project ETV were
reference to modify and improve existing educational
systems and policies. Moreover, the project facilitated the
school head to amend the instructional
strategies/techniques delivery system in order to cater the
needs of the students and teachers in the academically
