Points to remember
There are three kinds of reports:
1. Newspaper report 3.All the reports are to be written in third
person, passive voice and PASTTENSE.
2. Magazine report
4.Report isthe only long composition that

5.There have to be four paragraphs. First
1. For newspaper report: paragraph: Introduction, second& third
Heading, By-line, Place, date, and time if Paragraph: Details of the event and also

questions what, where, when, who,how. fourth paragraph: Conclusion.You should
not give your views and suggestions.

20 Killed in Road Accident

Agra, September 10 2020.Twenty-four people including a woman and a two-month old baby
were killed in a tragic road accident involving a truck and a mini bus at Najafgarh, a village 14
km from here.
The ill-fated Mini Bus was carrying a marriage party from Delhi to Mathura.The truck carrying
industrial goods to NOIDA collided head-on with the Mini Bus killing twelve of them on the
spot.
The injured were immediately rushed to Dr. RML Hospital where eight succumbed to
injuries. Four are said to be critical. The eyewitness explained, how the truck rammed
into the Mini Bus and the truck driver fled. He said the way he was driving the truck it
seemed he was drunk.
The Police have registered a case against the truck driver and they are on a man hunt.

TREKKING CAMP OF NCC STUDENTS

Forty students of St. Marks school’s NCC unit guided by Mr. R.B.Sachan, ProgrammeOfficer
went on a ten-day trekking camp to Forests of Bhind (MP) summer holidays.The group set
out from the school campus on 10th of May 2019 in a specially arranged bus.
The group went up to Morena forest in the bus. They started walking from there with the
essential things packed in our hold-all.They reached the wild areasof the forest of Bhind by
evening.The tents were raised in convenient places near the riverYamuna. Dinner was
prepared,all dined in the moonlight and had a comfortable sleep.
The next day saw a bright sunrise and all got ready for the first trek to the Shiv temple, then
came back. All enjoyed adventure games like rappelling, rock climbing, Tarzan swing. In the
evening was camp fire all dancing, singing and enjoying the soft fresh breeze. The students
shared their experiences saying, they had never experienced such a beautiful starlit sky and
such fresh air.
For the next 8 days all trekked around the nearby hills. It was a wonderful outdoor
experience for the students.The unit returned to campus safely on 21st of May.
