Outcome Reflection 7 – Reflecting on Starting a Literature Review
1. How has this assignment helped you engage in your chosen outcome? Did you write
about one of the goals in the outcomes, or did you apply the skills talked about in each
one?
- For the reflection, I will be reflecting on my literature review draft, and will be
using the Information Literacy outcome to do so. In my literature review, I
applied the skills talked about in the outcome, as I had to interpret my primary
and secondary sources, including analyzing and gathering them, and then put
them in conversation with each other based on their relevance and what they
talked about. I specifically applied the concepts of evaluating and acting on
criteria for presenting primary and secondary sources and had to essentially talk
about each source and the information each contained to make the Literature
Review.

2. How does this assignment or activity connect with other course outcomes or build
towards upcoming major assignments?

- This assignment is a draft for the final literature review, so it essentially acted as
a building block and base that I could use for my major literature review
assignment. This review will also eventually go towards my final research
project, so it also contributes in that way as a part towards my final research
project.
