• 1pc 74LS04 (hex inverter gate)
• 1 pc 5mm red LED
• 1 pc 1/2w 220Ω resistor
• 1 pc SPDT switch
• 1 pc breadboard

V. Conclusion

This experiment aims to observe the mechanism of the NOT gate and its connection
in series. The NOT gate is a type of logic where the output reverses the value of the
input. It has shown that the NOT Gate can switch values when they pass through
another NOT Gate. This phenomenon was applied in figure B and C. As for the results
in Figure B, the output has altered due to the alternation coming out from the 2nd NOT
Gate that makes it inverse compared to the previous figure. In Figure C, three NOT
gates are used which makes the output same as the figure A. Since it was altered 3
times, the result has similar outcome to the first figure.
