review session shall be conducted during detailed design stage as
required by Appendix A Sow. Include the requirement for Safety
review in Philosophy
document.

4.0 No response from Contractor for Hazardous area classification

comment; The lab location is unclassified.
However, Specific to the project there are classified zones, eg battery
room , HC storage etc. Note: Requirement fro HAC shall be discussed
in philosophy document.
This item was explained during the meeting with contractor and
sample HAC schedule and lay out were provided.
Comply EI 15 for guidance.

5.0 Refer to 6.4.6, separate safety sign lay out and spec documents
shall be developed.

6.0 Refer to 6.4.9, revise to state that - Passive Fire protection

requirement shall be subject to FERA study results”.

7.0 6.4.11, identify locations for safety showers

8.0 6.4.11, identify locations for Eyes wash
9.0 6.4.13 Specify Type and size of Extinguishers required.
10.0 Refer to 7.4, HVAC air intake shall have Toxic, Flammable,
Benzene and Chlorine gas detectors. Confirmed detection shall close Noted and incorporated, kindly refer to the updated document (section No. 7.4).
HVAC gas damper and shoudwon HVAC.

11.0 Road ways and width shall comply with Section 6.8.27 of
Corporate Fire and safety philosophy QP-PHLS-

12.0 Refer to 12.2 Zone classification. More clarity required. Please

describe zoen requirement applicable to project scope. Liquid
hydrocarbon storage also envisaged.
13.0 Refer to 13.0, please discuss how and where laboratory
drainage collected removed for further treatment.
14.0 Refer to 7.1 F&G system shall interfaced with QPR and Noted and incorporated, kindly refer to the updated document (clause No.
Mesaieed Fire stations and MIC ERCC. 7.1.a).
15.0 Refer to 7.1, & 7.2.7, laboratory guard house shall be provided Noted and incorporated, kindly refer to the updated document (clause No.
